We're sad to say goodbye.
We had a lovely meal together, and kept the fire going long enough to toast marshmallows after dinner.

Then Eliza placed the heart into in the column in the kitchen .
And Ben sealed it up.
I saw an idea at the Stitches and Craft show and thought I'd give it a go - with some modifications because I'm new to crochet and a very basic knitter.
So I kinda worked it out in my head and then knitted long skinny pieces .... and crocheted long skinny pieces (don't you love this technical talk!)
Then I laced them together ... leaving some of the tails free, at either end.
And the result is a warm woolly scarf which I wrapped around my neck and stepped out to enjoy the wintery afternoon.
And suberb coffee.
Da daaahhhhh..
and look at the paper ... providing a hint of what lay beneath.

I popped a little Easter surprise in the mail today.

I hope she likes it.
This week it's Easter.
The eggs are obvious decorations ... and I love the birds and butterflies as well.
Eliza and I made these, to welcome Spring ... and I dragged then out for Easter too.
And when I came back to my office this afternoon ... the Easter Bunny had left quite a few suprises!
